How do I use gift codes for Fantasy Life?

You don't need to get very far into the game to use Fantasy Life gift codes, but you won't have the option as soon as you land on the island. Instead, you need to progress through the intro to the point where you select your first Life to master.

Once you're done speaking with the Guild character and given your first set of Life armor and tools, just open up the main menu. Waves of new options will appear on the Weird Pad, including the Gift icon on the second page.

Click on the Gift icon and you'll bring up a code redemption screen. Enter a working Fantasy Life gift code to claim a prize.

How do I get Fantasy Life gift codes?

The first Fantasy Life codes released were the long-promised wishlist campaign rewards on May 23, 2025. That was a two whole days after their promised launch day release. These were posted to the Fantasy Life Twitter page, among other social networks.

We think future new Fantasy Life gift codes will be handed out as a way for the developers to deliver rewards for other social campaigns and competitions. They often use the same gift icon used in-game to punctuate competition posts, for example.

It's presumptuous and could be a coincidence, but we think winning one of these giveaways means earning a Fantasy Life gift code to use in-game.

But that doesn't mean the developers won't just post Fantasy Life gift codes to social platforms for all to redeem sometime in the future, similar to Borderlands 3 Shift codes. There's always the chance they'll come in from survey rewards (which can be taken via the main start screen) or through things like email or Twitch drops campaigns.

How do I get my deluxe edition Fantasy Life rewards?

If you picked up the deluxe edition of Fantasy Life, you should spot the rewards in a chest to your left as soon as you enter the Guild building during the intro. Just open the chest, and the rewards (including some powerful melee weapons, Rem's outfit, and more) should go straight into your inventory.

The outfits are wholly cosmetic and thus have terrible stats, so be sure to equip these via the Outfits menu rather than the Equipment menu. That way, you can equip some appropriate armor while keeping the look of your cool deluxe edition fits.
