One of the game's developed by Double Fine during last year's Amnesia Fortnight was a god game where you'd build your own space station. Now Spacebase DF-9's being released as a fully-fledged standalone game and you can buy yourself early access to get playing the thing now.
First things first, an announcement trailer:
You can buy a copy of the game from $25. That grants you early access to the current build of the game through Steam. It'll update each time Double Fine release new content.
That's just the cheapest release of the game, though. In a move akin to Introversion's Prison Architect alpha launch, there are multiple releases of Spacebase. Here they all are, running from $25 to a staggering $250:

There's a fairly extensive developer blog that tracks how Double Fine turned the prototype built in two weeks during Amnesia Fortnight into the game released today. At one point a so-called "bug" meant aliens drank beer from their rifles. That's no bug that's just aliens being hard!
