You can bag yourself a brand new Lenovo Legion Go S for just $599.99 right now at Best Buy, saving you $130 on the usual price. This deal also makes it cheaper than the original Legion Go model, which is also discounted but only to $649.99.
As one of the Lenovo, but the reception to the Legion Go S has been mixed, largely due to the belief that it's simply priced too high. Thankfully, this Best Buy deal drops the price substantially, helping the appeal of this handheld massively.
The Lenovo Legion Go S changes the formula quite dramatically from the design of the original Go, with the removable controllers being dropped in favour of a much more ergonomic feel in-hand. On the display, an 8-inch, 1200p, 120Hz, VRR is used with Lenovo PureSight tech included.
You now also get 1TB of storage as the default, and the system memory has doubled to 32GB. On the processing front, the Legion Go S also uses the AMD Ryzen Z2 Go, which tracks behind the Z1 Extreme in of performance, which is why the value of the Legion Go S was questioned at launch.
However, you'll still be able to play popular games such as Cyberpunk 2077 on low settings at over 60fps with AMD FSR and frame generation enabled. For older games, say Red Dead Redemption as an example, you'll be able to make use of the full 1200p resolution with medium to high settings with a return of at least 60fps.
Right now at Best Buy, you can buy a 1TB Lenovo Legion Go S for just $599.99, saving $130 against the MSRP. You'll also get a free month of Xbox Game Ultimate with your purchase on top of the three months you already get with the handheld. You can purchase your handheld using this link.
