The final Monster Hunter Wilds beta ran from Thursday, February 13 to Tuesday, February 18, 2025. This was preceded by an earlier beta held on Friday, February 7 to Monday, February 10, 2025.
The second weekend of OBT2 was extended across all platforms by an additional day following the PSN outage in its first weekend. It started at 7pm PT / 10PM ET / 3am GMT and ended at 6.59pm PT / 9.59pm ET / 2.59am GMT.
OBT2 included all the content from the first beta, plus two additional hunts for Gypceros and Arkveld, the flagship MHWilds weapons in the base camp's training area.
Players can transfer character data from the beta into the launch build, so you can hop right back into the Forbidden Lands at launch without wasting time in character creation. However, any progress you made in the beta won't carry over.
